Ivan Grech releases video of new song “Show Me How to Love You”
Following the success of the first two songs from his upcoming solo album “(Let’s Get) High on Love” and “Picture on the Wall”, Ivan Grech has released the official music video of his third single, “Show Me How to Love You”. You can watch it on YouTube.
“Show Me How to Love You” is an uplifting song with a heartfelt, emotional message that explores the discovery, search, and understanding of love. The song captures the innocence of first love in childhood, revisited through reflection later in life.
The official music video adds another deeply personal layer to the song. Filmed at St Margaret College, Dom Mauro Inguanez — Senglea Primary School, the video was shot in the classroom that Ivan himself attended as a child. The video stars Beppe Caruana as the young boy and Sarah Camilleri as the teacher. The production also features students from the school.
Ivan performed the song live for the first time during the semi-final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in January, during a special guest appearance. The performance was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction, marking an emotional introduction to the new release.
“I was truly amazed, touched, and humbled by the crowd’s reaction to the song,” says Ivan. “Many people connected instantly with both the melody and the message. Moments like these make everything that I do worthwhile. Filming the video was also very emotional, especially returning to the school in Senglea where I was once a student. It made the whole experience even more personal and meaningful.”
“Show Me How to Love You” was written by Ivan Grech. It was produced, recorded, and mixed at Railway Studios by Peter Borg, who also recorded guitars, bass, drums, percussion and keyboards. The video was filmed and produced by Matthew James.
“Show Me How to Love You” is the third single from Ivan’s much-anticipated debut solo album, which will be titled Victory Street. The new album will be available across all digital platforms on 16 April 2026.
